New Restaurant in Coal City Illinois

La Piazza Restorante and Pizzari opened this week and tonight I had a great meal, a full slab of Barbecue Ribs followed with a nice portion of Tiramisu. The only negative part of the visit was their coffee. It was made with Coal City water and it was terrible. After sending it back I learned that the coffee was not made in the restaurant but was made next door at Julie's Java. I don't drink Coal City water at home and will not drink it anywhere else. It just has a bad taste and it can't be disguised. Good luck Pizzari, I will be back. The food was great, just try to think... BOTTLED WATER!!! Your clientele will thank you for it.

Barbequed ribs and tiramisu at a Pizzeria? That's weird in itself but if you liked it, GREAT! Supposedly they served pizza, too?? lol

BEST PIZZA AROUND. A MUST TO TRY.
EASY TO FIND RIGHT OFF OF 113.
WAITRESSES ARE VERY FRIENDLY.

Isn't it called Restorante AND Pizzeria? Think that means more than pizza Polly. Really think we have enough places in Coal City and Diamond now that serve PIZZA if that is all you are looking for Polly.

Had a very nice steak tonight at the Restorante and Pizzeria. Coal City and Diamond haven't had a place that served a decent steak until now. So far, I have enjoyed everything I've tried on their menu and they have no competition in the immediate area. It's your loss if you haven't eaten there yet.

Rodney, check out the Whistlestop in Diamond on a Thursday night for a great deal on a tasty rib-eye dinner.

As for La Piazza, went there for pasta and was not dissapointed. best in area since Antonias closed. Great bread and soup. Large portions. I recommend the alfredo was so good. My hub loved the manicotti.

Shall return.
